About William Reeves
American currently living in France
Biography
My name is William (AKA Bill) Reeves and I am a photographer, author, and professor currently living in France. For me, photography is a way of connecting with the world, a way of understanding the world, and most of all, a way of having fun in the world!
My initial training was in documentary/reportage photography, which transitioned into portraiture, which led to wedding and commercial work. This eventually burned me out, and I didn't touch a camera for nearly 3 years. Then one day I woke up and had to photograph again. To this day I have no idea what happened, but my love for images was reignited and is stronger than ever.
I hope you enjoy my work, and if you don't, well that's ok too. Either way, feel free to drop me an email or message me on social media. Any friend of the camera is a friend of mine.
If you care to see my work in person, it is currently in the permanent collections of The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, The Harry Ransom Center, and The Worcester Art Museum.
